More vehicles than parking spots

Dear Editor:

I live in the middle of an unintended parking lot at the corner of Bleeker and 2nd, and I am sure that each and every car and truck has a properly-issued parking permit which allows it to park perfectly legally while doing business with the construction of two or three (I’m not sure which) quite large buildings at the corner of the two above-mentioned streets.

I understand that construction workers need cars and trucks, but sharing is surely a possibility and establishing a place to park where houses stand empty should be the job of the city’s parking department to find, there are certainly enough people working there to accomplish this task.
