More on proper roundabouting

Dear Editor:In response to Tim Lankins’ response to Wendy Warm, Wendy is correct about the proper use of the roundabout, not Tim. The two lanes are designed as a left through-lane and a right merge in/exit lane for traffic on Maroon and Castle Creek roads. Tim’s take on efficiency works only on the behalf of those who are overly self-focused and believe passing on the left at speeds exceeding those posted, then cutting in and blocking the roundabout while they attempt to merge back into the through-lane defines efficiency. Tim, slow down and enjoy the view. Allow “us sheep” to get to town without an accident, on time and unannoyed by your antics.Shellie RoyPitkin County commissioner
