Mixed signals from city

Dear Editor:

Creating messy vitality is tough work and full of self-doubt and backtracking. Ask some of the hairstylists who are paid great sums of money to create that bohemian persona look for clients at one appointment and then take it away when the client visits the next time.

A few years back, council correctly observed that the town had lost some of its spunk. And so now there is great messy vitality in the mall with much of it having turned into a bistro-like experience with open-air dining. Good work, council. Now what is up with the sandwich-board sign witch hunt?
