Missing Ray
Dear Editor:
I am slow in writing to say what a wonderful conductor and composer the valley has lost with Ray Adams’ death. It is timely since it is during Easter, a holiday well suited to Ray’s sacred choral compositions.
I attended the “Messiah” at Christmas. Ray seemed tremendously energized and thrilled conducting the event. I feel so blessed to have a lasting memory of him at his best. The valley will miss him tremendously.
Thanks for all the glorious concerts.
