Mick’s bizarre

Dear Editor:A bit bizarre to see Mick Ireland attacking Toni Kronberg in the paper (Aspen Times, Dec. 14). Does he think Toni was running the government when all the things he deplores in his letter happened? No, they happened on his watch. Who rewrote the regulations, granted endless variances to them and signed all the development permits that forced so many downvalley or onto reservations where they have to borrow back any equity they may gain just to meet daily expenses, leaving them to face a retirement in poverty? You will find the names Ireland, Farris, Hatfield, Roy, Clapper, Klanderud, Richards, Semrau. People like those in Washington who want power without responsibility.Richard GordonAspen
