‘Messiah’ rehearsals begin in Aspen, Glenwood

ASPEN – The Aspen and Glenwood Choral Societies are inviting all singers to participate in the 34th annual valley performances of Handel’s “Messiah.” Singers of all levels are welcome; there is no audition process.
Rehearsals in Aspen are on Sundays from 4-6 p.m., beginning Nov. 6, at St. Mary Catholic Church. Rehearsals in Glenwood Springs are on Mondays from 6-8 p.m., beginning Nov. 7, at the First United Methodist Church.
Performances of the “Messiah” are Dec. 6-7 in Glenwood Springs, and Dec. 9-10 in Aspen. Performances will be conducted by Aspen Choral Society music director Ray Vincent Adams, and will feature the 16-piece Aspen Choral Society Orchestra.
