Memorial: John Boslough

A memorial celebration for John I. Boslough is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 26 at Picnic Point on the back of Aspen Mountain.

Boslough died May 4 at the age of 67. The memorial is one of several events in a weekend-long tribute, including a barbecue and games at the Boslough house at 7 p.m. on Saturday, a gathering outside the Benedict Music Tent during the Harry Connick Jr. concert on Friday, and a bike ride to the Maroon Bells at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

To reach Picnic Point on Saturday, please try to board the Silver Queen Gondola by noon, and shuttle cars will be available at the top of the mountain. Those planning to drive to Picnic Point are urged to carpool and park responsibly.

In lieu of flowers, the Bosloughs ask that people consider donating to the Aspen Writers’ Foundation in John Boslough’s name.

For more information, please call Susan Boslough at 970-923-4231.
