Memorial donations appreciated
I sent out this letter a few months ago but because it was during the holidays many people told me they missed it. So, I am sending it out again.
On Oct. 27, 2010, William Bennett Koch died of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.) He was eight month and four days old. He was a beautiful baby filled with life and love and joy. He blessed his parents, two brothers and sister each day he was alive. His death has left a huge hole in their hearts and lives.
You may know William’s father, Chris, who manages the upstairs at Carl’s Pharmacy or his mother, Marleny, who has worked at City Markets for years. While none of us can do anything to take away their pain from losing William, what I’d like to do is give you an opportunity to give so that we can have a bench built and place it in the El Jebel area where the Koch’s live. It would give them and their family a place to go and sit with William’s memory. It will be a way to honor his life.
The William Koch Memorial Fund has been set up at Alpine Bank. If anyone would like to give towards honoring William, it would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me as well at 925-7102.
