Dear Editor:
Many thanks to the Atlantic and the Aspen Institute for putting together such a fabulous Aspen Ideas Festival. This event continues the Aspen tradition of bringing together thought leaders to address the world’s challenges and in so doing revitalizes the heart and soul of our community.
I am also convinced that this sharing of ideas truly makes a difference in the context of today’s broader challenges.

Up, up and away: Snowmass Balloon Festival returns to town
Flying in the mountain towns like Snowmass can be dangerous: Get a little too trigger happy with the burner as heat escapes the balloon’s thin fabric, and you soar way, way too far “up, up and away.”
