Maroon Creek Club steps up
Dear Editor:
Last Saturday’s Aspen High School tennis match with Evergreen High School took place due to the generosity of the Maroon Creek Club. The weather was indecisive on Saturday, but was persistent with enough rain that the tennis team needed to move the varsity matches indoors.
Rob and Kenny, the Aspen High School coaches, called to see if we could use three of the four indoor courts at the Maroon Creek Club and they responded yes! If it were not for the generosity of David Chadbourne, GM at the Maroon Creek Club, we may not have been able to fit the competition in on Saturday. I know the competitors and parents from Evergreen were also grateful to know that after a three-hour voyage to Aspen, the competition would go on!
It is nice to know we have wonderful partners in Aspen to assist local kids and the Aspen High School.
