Marolt, out of character, gets it right for once
Dear Editor:
I rarely agree with anything Roger Marolt has to say in his weekly Aspen and Snowmass columns, but he was spot on right in his column last Friday opposing the Castle Creek hydroelectric project (“A monument to construction, a detriment to rivers,” opinion, Oct. 12, The Aspen Times).
For a change he made several very intelligent and cogent remarks regarding this detrimental, expensive and unnecessary project. It appears that Roger may becoming more enlightened and responsible as he matures. I wish I could say the same for Aspen’s mayor and City Council.
