The forum will center on housing issues, including the employee-housing program and policy issues important to that program in the coming decade.Chris Bryan, an associate attorney at Garfield & Hecht and current president of the Pitkin County Bar Association, will moderate. All council and mayoral candidates have indicated that they will participate. The forum begins promptly at 6 p.m., and there is a meet-and-greet with the candidates beginning around 5:30 p.m. All are welcome, and Aspen area younger residents are particularly encouraged to attend. The forum is complimentary. Younger residents also are encouraged to attend the Aspen Democracy Initiative’s Politics & Pub Crawl, which will take place Wednesday beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the J-Bar. The crawl is capped at 40 people and is intended for young adult residents.
