Many boards, but not that one

Dear Editor:

Last week, in an Aspen Times article about the Woody Creek Caucus candidate forum (“Pitkin County candidate forum sees sparks,” Sept. 26), it was mistakenly reported that I serve on CCI (Colorado Counties, Inc.), a lobbying organization based in Denver.

I serve on local, valley-based boards, including RFTA (Roaring Fork Transit Authority), ACRA (Aspen Chamber and Resort Association) and Ruedi Water and Power Association, a multi-jurisdictional monitoring board of the Ruedi Dam operations.

Michael M. Owsley

County commissioner, District 3

Woody Creek
