Man killed in fall from Longs Peak
Aspen, CO Colorado
ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, Colo. – A man found dead at the base of Longs Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park may be a missing Littleton man.
A parks employee discovered the body of a man Friday morning. Parks officials say it appears he died falling from the north side of Longs Peak, a 14,259-foot mountain.
Authorities were investigating to see if the victim is John Bramley, a 55-year-old man from Littleton. Bramley went for a Longs Peak hike on Thursday and had not returned, but officials didn’t immediately say whether the body is Bramley.
An investigation and autopsy are planned.
