Man found dead in Snowmass

A Snowmass Village man was found dead, apparently of natural causes, at a Brush Creek Road residence Tuesday night, according to authorities.

“It’s a natural-cause death, and we’re still on the scene investigating right now,” said Pitkin County Deputy Coroner Tom Walsh at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday.

The man, whose name was not released last night pending notification of his family, was dead when authorities arrived at the residence, located near the corner of Brush Creek and Emmy roads, just after 6 p.m.

Foul play is not suspected, Walsh stressed.
