Aspen, CO Colorado

ASPEN – A 27-year-old Grand Junction man was found dead at the Tyrolean Lodge in Aspen Friday morning.

The man was identified as Justin M. Miracle, according to Aspen police.

He was a guest at the Main Street lodge, said police Detective Walter Chi. Foul play is not suspected, he said.

Authorities received a report shortly before 7 a.m. about a man who was unconscious and not breathing at the lodge. Police, Aspen Ambulance and EMTs with the Aspen Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene. CPR was administered, but attempts to resuscitate the man were unsuccessful.

Deputy Coroner Chuck Johnson was summoned to the scene.

Detective Chi is coordinating an investigation with the county coroner’s office. No other information was available Friday, pending the results of an autopsy and toxicology test results, police said.

Those results won’t be available for about three weeks, the coroner’s office said.
