Man arrested at Aspen nightclub

ASPEN ” A Pueblo man was arrested Saturday night after authorities allegedly found LSD-laced sugar cubes and a bag of marijuana on him at an Aspen nightclub.

Aspen police arrested James Potter Jr., 32, at the Regal nightclub on Galena Street. An officer who was in the club observed Potter allegedly handling the bag of marijuana, and a few minutes later was asked to present it, said Aspen police Sgt. Chip Seamans.

Potter allegedly turned away from the officer and tried to dispose of the sugar cubes. He was placed under arrest, but not before he allegedly resisted, and a struggle between Potter and the officer ensued.

Potter posted bail over the weekend. His bail was set at $10,600.
