Making a difference
Dear Editor:
Last week, Finbarr’s Irish Pub hosted a fundraiser for the Aspen Youth Center. Diners who made a donation to the center were given a discount on their food bills! It was a really fun, busy evening. We would like to thank Kelly and Denis O’Donovan and their amazing staff for their generosity and hard work. We are very lucky to have locally owned businesses such as Finbarr’s who are committed to make our community a better place for kids.
The Aspen Youth Center is a nonprofit youth organization providing after-school, summer and outreach programs to more than 1,200 youth in the Roaring Fork Valley. Last year, we had more than 13,000 youth visits! All our programs are provided free of charge, so events like this mean a great deal to us.
Sarah Visnic and Keith Berglund
Co-directors, Aspen Youth Center
