Loved every minute

Dear Editor:This is a long overdue letter, which we have been meaning to write for the past month-and-a-half You know how time flies by in the summer! We are writing on behalf of our sons, Colter (10) and Trey (8), who attended the Roaring Fork Baseball Camp in early June. We would like to say a big “thank you” to Ron Morehead from Aspen Sports and Steve Martin from New York Life for organizing this fabulous weekend baseball camp for the kids of this valley. My boys absolutely loved every minute of this weekend camp. They were so inspired by the talented, hard-working, and fun-loving athletes and coaches from the Air Force Academy, Mesa State, and BYU baseball teams. How fortunate for all of our kids to have exposure to such great role models. So, thanks Ron and Steve, once again, for all your time, dedication, and hard work, which you give, thus making this great event possible every year. We would also like to acknowledge and extend a thank you to all of the generous local sponsors who helped to make this camp happen. Thanks to: Domino’s, Alpine Bank, Boogie’s Diner, Red Onion, Coats Reid and Waldron/Resort Quest, Frias Properties, Morris Frywald Real Estate, KSPN, Stewart Title, St. Moritz Lodge, Paradise Bakery, Blair Elliot and the Parks Department, Leah Moriarty, Dave LaGrua, Debbie Alcorta, Aspen coaches Jeff LaGrua, Matt Beirne, Andy MacCracken, Zach and Nic Maraziti, Nick Anastas, Walker Moriarty, and anyone else we may have overlooked. Our boys are already looking forward to camp next summer and they continue to chant one of the mottos they learned at camp… “we love this game!”Suzanne, Rob, Colter and Trey RobinsonSnowmass Village
