Love thy neighbor

Dear Editor:

The events of New Year’s Eve and the smoldering madness between Hamas and Israel and Pakistan and India suggest something simple we could all do. Get to know, accept and love your neighbor.

I don’t mean your favorite neighbor, but whomever is closest to you. If they are someone you don’t really like or know, all the better. Talk to them, smile, love ” right now. If we all do this one thing, we’re all taken care of, world problems solved.

Don’t ask questions about whatever happens in the news, here or anywhere. Get on with it ” and get to know, love, smile at and accept your neighbor. Mine know that I’m serious.
