Lots of tricks and treats on the streets of Aspen

Aspen, as per custom, is going all out for tonight’s Halloween celebration. Which means that all types – young and old – will find something to their liking.

Here’s a schedule of Halloween activities in the Aspen area:

Wildwood School Parade, 10 a.m.: Beginning at the Hyman Avenue Mall fountain, it will make its way around the pedestrian malls and through downtown.

Aspen Ice Garden Halloween Party, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.: On-ice costume contest, food and drinks.

Cantina, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.: Halloween Happy Hour.

McStorlie’s Pub, 6 p.m.: Sam Adams Cider Party.

Shooter’s Saloon: Disco DJ party all night

O’Leary’s: 13th annual Non-Costume Party

Isis Theater: “The Little Vampire,” at 5:15, 7:20 and 9:30 p.m.; “Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2,” at 5, 7 and 9:15 p.m.; plus a children’s costume contest at 4:30 p.m.

Double Diamond, 10 p.m.: Halloween Party featuring Jive.

The Grottos, 9 p.m.: Halloween Party featuring Likewise, and a free keg.

Ute City Bar and Grill, 10 p.m.: Halloween Party featuring the Jimmy Dykann Band.

Club Chelsea, 10 p.m.: Halloween Party featuring the Harry Baxter Band.

Basalt Regional Library, 3:30 p.m.: After-school Scary Story Session.

Gordon Cooper Library, 6 to 9 p.m.: Harry Potter Halloween Party, Carbondale.

The Shortstop, 8 p.m.: Halloween Party with DJ and costume contest, El Jebel.
