Losing a gem from the Jerome
Dear Editor:It is with sadness and disappointment that I read of the sudden departure of general manager Tony DiLucia from the Hotel Jerome. Tony has made the Hotel Jerome the crown jewel of Aspen and a very special place for both visitors and local residents alike. He has welcomed everyone with an extremely high level of professionalism and grace, and more important, he has always kept the hotel as an integral part of the Aspen community. The new ownership group cannot possibly comprehend what they are losing. I hope that Tony realizes what a special place he made the Jerome over the last 19 years, and I, as a member of the Aspen community, would like to thank him for all of his efforts.Lisa MarkalunasAspen
