Looking a gift horse in the mouth

Dear Editor:Pertaining to the letter by Edgar Niebla (Aspen Times, May 21) on the issue of English in the workplace, I have several observations. Unless I am very much mistaken, Edgar doesn’t like white people but he likes their money. I wonder if Edgar would have the gumption to admit this openly. If I, as an American, went down to Mexico and talked as he has done here, I would be slammed into the hotel crossbars or beaten (sliced?) to a pulp.Edgar is looking his gift horse in the mouth, which is about the same as wanting to eat your cake but be able to keep it as well. I’m wondering if we shall hear more words of wisdom from Edgar on this sensitive matter.Pete LuhnAspen
