As a gaggle of geese attempted a V formation for their flight south, Aspen resident Kathryn Rabinow caught them in action Sept. 6. "The geese must have watched the weather forecast with the news of below freezing temperatures and snow scheduled for Tuesday," Rabinow said. "I didn’t giggle at the gaggle because the birds were 'telling me’ that summer is just about over."
