Mrs. Becky Oliver's second-graders and Mrs. Katie Fox's fourth-graders at Aspen Elementary School raised a grand total $3,249 for their Adopt-A-Family project. The amount raised set a record for the project, which allows the classes to adopt three families comprised of 27 people through the Holiday Baskets Program. Prior to their school-wide bake sale, they had raised $2,718.34 since October by doing chores at their homes and community, in addition to receiving some donations.
