Free homebuyer classes will be offered throughout Eagle County over the next six months, including Wednesday in El Jebel.
The Valley Home Store is presenting the workshop, with topics including from the pros and cons of homeownership, basics in preparing a budget, the financing process and the home purchase process.
Presenters also will provide information on owning property within a homeowners association, preventative maintenance and post-purchase budgeting.
The class will be held at the Eagle County office building and community center in the Mt. Sopris Room from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. April 10. The building is adjacent to Crown Mountain Park.
The Valley Home Store was created by Eagle County, towns throughout the valley and major businesses to assist residents in home buying and renting.
