Eagle County commissioners invite public to celebrate fire response, new manager

The Eagle County Commissioners are inviting Roaring Fork Valley residents Tuesday to a reception for new Eagle County Manager Jeff Shroll and a celebration of the community’s response to the Lake Christine Fire.

The free event will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Crown Mountain Park and will be catered by Smoke Modern Barbeque. Attendees should bring their own picnic blanket.

Shroll joined the Eagle County team after 24 years as the manager for the town of Gypsum. He took the post of Eagle County manager on May 29.
