Linda Carmichael

Contributed report

Linda Carmichael took the next step in her spiritual journey on Thursday, Dec. 6. The compassion and grace that defined her life were only strengthened in her passing.

An enduring presence in the local community, Linda was a romantic bibliophile and gifted seamstress. Her love of books and the stories they told made her a patient observer of mankind. The tapestries she wove personified her spiritual ties to the world around her.

Linda lived a simple life. She loved to hike in the mountains, listen to the leaves of the aspen trees blowing in the wind and watch snow fall in the winter months. She was a wise, kind and sensitive spirit who sought a silver lining in each of her clouds.

Linda wanted to thank all of her friends in Aspen for their love, support and kindness.
