Limelight Hotel plans moonlight cruise

Staff report

The inaugural Limelight Moonlight Cruiser Ride through Aspen will take place Thursday, May 23.

Participants are invited to get on their bikes and ride after gathering at 9 p.m. at the Limelight Hotel. Jim Kravitz of the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies will lead the cruise around town.

The route will take riders to the West End, through the Aspen Institute campus, past the Music Tent and then up the Rio Grande Trail and back into Aspen. Locals should bring their own bikes; Limelight guests will have access to the hotel’s complimentary bikes on a first-come, first-served basis.

Future moonlight rides are planned throughout the summer, according to Aspen Skiing Co., owner of the Limelight.
