Limelight bike cruise in Aspen on Wednesday
The Limelight Hotel on Wednesday will play host to the fourth Limelight Moonlight Cruiser Ride of the summer.
Riders meet at the hotel between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. for happy hour, when $10 pizzas and $4 beer specials will be available. The ride officially starts at 8:30 p.m. from the hotel and will end at the Limelight.
The ride will take riders through the West End and downtown Aspen. Bright clothing, reflectors and bike lights, headlamps or both are recommended.
Locals are encouraged bring their own bikes, while Limelight Hotel guests will have access to the hotel’s complimentary bikes on a first-come, first-served basis.
Also, Aspen’s new bike-share program, WE-cycle, will be present during happy hour with free passes so riders can try a WE-cycle bike for the evening cruise. WE-cycle also will be giving away several T-shirts during the happy hour.
The final Limelight Moonlight Cruise will be Sept. 19.
