Let’s walk the walk

Dear Editor:

For the past 10 weeks I have been watching and listening to the music tent/Burlingame buses traveling Highway 82 at Original Curve. Most of the time they travel with zero passengers, and never more than five to eight people at a time.

My question to the city? You keep saying “Let’s make Aspen ‘Green'”, but that seems all you do is talk. How can you allow these giant, loud buses carry zero to eight passengers per trip, spewing their pollution, making their obnoxious loud noise, taking up all the road space? Seems to me all you need is Aspen Meadows, Ritz-type buses.

Please stop wasting taxpayer money. Let’s not be Al Gore; let’s walk the walk.
