Let’s make a change

Dear Editor:

Last week I was treated in such a mean and unhelpful manner at our small little Aspen Airport (United Airlines) that I left in tears. The unnecessary stress on our family and thousands of dollars just didn’t need to happen. That however, is not the purpose of this letter. When I have told my story (and it has been told a lot), people are shocked, and their reaction is “what is happening to our town?”

What is happening? The energy of this town has changed, and not for the better. We need to treat each other the way we would like to be treated. So I implore all in Aspen … locals, second-home owners, seasonal workers, politicians, and tourists: Do something nice for someone today and everyday, do the right thing. You will feel better, sleep better, be healthier and more youthful … and remember, “what goes around comes around.”
