Let the whiners dine on Whole Foods

Dear Editor:

Andy Stone’s column on Whole Foods and his opinions about City Market (“Hey, listen up! Repeat after me: It’s just another grocery store,” Aug. 8, The Aspen Times) weren’t surprising.

There have been plenty of articles and letters that The Aspen Times happily prints if they manage to portray City Market in a negative way. It might be a surprise to some, but City Market employs people who live in the same valley as you do. These people work hard and have been providing you with service, which most of you didn’t decline to use. I can’t wait for Whole Foods to open. It will be great to finally rid ourselves of all the loud crybabies.

I hope Whole Foods is ready for them. May God help them.
