Lemonade Day Aspen organizers seek volunteers

ASPEN – The organizers of Lemonade Day Aspen are seeking volunteers to help with registration for the June event.

Volunteer training will take place at 10 a.m. Friday in the conference room of the Pitkin County Library.

Lemonade Day Aspen is a free, fun, hands-on learning program that teaches children how to own and operate their own business – a lemonade stand.

Youths who register receive a backpack with educational materials and, after completing the curriculum, open their stands for business on June 30. Participants keep the proceeds they earn.

Those who are interested in volunteering can email heather@buddyprogram.org. More information is available at http://www.aspen.lemonadeday.org or 970-920-2130.
