Dear Editor:

On Tuesday, my wife got mail from the Department of Health and Human Services in Baltimore, Md., marked official business.

In the envelope was literature about Medicare and Medicaid services to be read but there was one problem – it was printed in Spanish, not English! On the envelope was printed “Informacion Importante De Medicare!”

My wife and I are Americans, born and raised in Illinois of Norwegian ancestry, so why does our mail come in Spanish? What in hell has happened to the United States of America? Our government is catering to the Spanish people like no other nationalities have ever been, why? They won’t take the time or effort to learn English at schools they can go to at no cost for classes.

The politicians want their vote, yet if they are illegal they can’t vote anyway, so stop the political B.S. and protect our rights like you are supposed to.
