Learn about the airport on Wednesday

Dear Editor:

The Aspen Democracy Initiative invites members of our community, and particularly encourages young adults, to join the Aspen Democracy Initiative and the Aspen-Pitkin County Airport on Wednesday for a behind-the-scenes tour followed by cocktails (cash bar) and a question-and-answer session.

The tour, given by airport director Jim Elwood, will be an opportunity to learn more about why the county is seeking to expand the airport and otherwise make modifications and upgrades. This is a great opportunity to come learn the facts, ask your questions, express your concerns and see what this centerpiece of our community will look like going forward.

Please visit the Aspen Democracy Initiative on Facebook to learn more at http://www.facebook.com/#!/aspendemocracyinitiative.
