Leadership changes at Challenge Aspen

Some leadership changes are afoot at Challenge Aspen.

The nonprofit’s board of directors announced Wednesday that Houston Cowan, co-founder and CEO of Challenge Aspen, will transition to a new role with the Challenge Aspen Endowment Fund on June 1.

Roaring Fork Valley resident Jeff Hauser will take the helm of CEO of Challenge Aspen, also on June 1. He will begin a part-time transition into the role in January.

Hauser owns and operates Hauser & Associates LLC, a strategic consulting firm.

Challenge Aspen is based in Snowmass Village and is one of the largest adaptive programs in the U.S.
