Layman reaches across aisle
Dear Editor:
I am endorsing Jeff Layman for Eagle County commissioner.
I have known Jeff for more than 30 years, and I have seen him develop into an effective community leader. My support for Jeff is not for the reasons that we think the same way or belong to the same political party, because we don’t.
There have been a number of times that we were on opposing ends of an issue. Jeff would reach out to me with a genuine desire to understand my perspective and then work toward common ground to develop resolutions that were mutually beneficial. He has earned my trust, respect and my vote.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
