Lawrence Edwin Satterfield

Lawrence Edwin Satterfield, 56, of Glenwood Springs, Colo., passed away Dec. 8, 2010. He was born Feb. 13, 1954 in Winchester, Ind., to Albert and Rosemary Satterfield.

Larry was an assistant night manager at Clark’s Market in Aspen. He enjoyed being with his family and friends and was an avid New York Yankees fan.

Larry is survived by his brother, Albert M Satterfield II; sister Marsha Sue (Satterfield) Helle; niece Jennifer Andrade; nephew Mitchel Helle (Tami); and grandnieces and grandnephews Zachery, Jonathan, Cassondra, Donovan, Sophia, Jagger, Brett and Raynee. Larry was preceded in death by his parents.



There will be a private family service. The family suggests contributions be made to charity or cause of your choice.

State issues Vail Resorts a notice of violation for 2021 fish kill

Vail Resorts has received notice of violation and a cease and desist order in the wake of a spill, which qualifies as a “discharge of pollutants,” last year from part of the Vail Mountain snowmaking system that ultimately resulted in a fish kill in Gore Creek.
