Laughing at ourselves

Dear Editor,”Laugh your Aspen off” was an amazing event and the comics were fantastic! How refreshing to know that living arts does exist in Aspen. I sat in the audience looking around, amazed at how many people that surrounded me I have never met who are locals and potential friends. I felt proud to be a part of an event by the people, about the people and for the people. It was wonderful to laugh about the jokes and truisms about our little town, and to be on the inside.Whether producing, onstage or in the audience I hope that everyone in Aspen will be reminded to do their part to nurture, preserve and treasure the roots and riches of our community and the living arts.Thank you Clifford Fewel for organizing such a great night!
