Lauding Laura

I have been involved with Laura Kornasiewicz on a number of community boards and school-related activities and projects.

Whether working on the Aspen Education Foundation, moderating first the Aspen Elementary School Parent Advisory Group and now the Middle School Parent Advisory Group or attending every Board of Education meeting over the last 2 years, she stays focused on the big picture of “what’s best for the children.”

Her ability to not only think “outside the box” but to follow through on implementation of creative strategies has been refreshing to witness and is an admirable quality possessed by few individuals. I have been very impressed by her ability to communicate with individuals – not only to speak in a clear and obviously well-thought-out manner but, most importantly, to really listen!

Laura has done her “homework” by her extensive involvement on many task forces and her hard work in making our schools better over the years. We would be a lucky community to have Laura be a part of the governing board for our school district. We’re supporting you, Laura K., and encouraging others to do the same.
