Lasting advice

Aspen Times writer

Dear Editor:

This letter is dedicated to Ivan Abrams. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to thank him for his support during his lifetime.

He was a very quiet person; a lot of locals knew that his name was Ivan, and a lot of them didn’t know his last name, including myself, until now! His last name was Abrams and he ran the Quadrant Bookstore for, I guess, some decades.

He seemed to live a nice, relaxing life at his bookstore. Going out and about, watching people and being seen never attracted him. He had one big interest, though. Literature.

To get to the point – Ivan, wherever you are now, thanks for your advice. Your words made my day, back then and now!
