Snowmass Village is a hotbed of live music this weekend given whats going on at venues around town and on the festival grounds in addition to the acts appearing on the main stage at the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Fest.To keep it all straight, heres the festival lineup on and off the festival grounds for the holiday weekend. Those who purchase tickets at the grounds will be charged an extra $5, but tickets are available in advance at the Wheeler Box Office in Aspen, by calling 866-JAS-TIXX and online at http://www.jazzaspen.org.For the JAS After Dark shows, a daily $20 block party pass, good to all shows that evening, is available by calling 1-866-527-8499 or online at http://www.jazzaspen.org. Those with gold VIP tickets to the festival have free entrance to the After Dark performances.TRANSIT AND PARKINGThe recommended method of getting to and from Snowmass Town Park, a.k.a. the festival grounds, is to take the bus.Regular fares apply to ride a RFTA bus to the festival grounds, but everyone rides home for free. In addition, the free Snowmass Village shuttle service will serve the grounds from the town.Paid parking is available at the Rodeo Lot (limited availability) for $20 per day and the Two Creeks lot for $10 per day. Free parking is available at the intercept lot at Brush Creek Road and Highway 82, with free shuttle service between the lot and the festival grounds.Brush Creek Road, serving the festival site, will be closed during the festival. Motorists going to and from Snowmass Village should use Highline Road/Owl Creek Road instead.WHAT TO BRING/LEAVE HOMENo coolers, cameras, radios, recording devices, high-back chairs of any kind, inflatables, tents or pets are allowed onto the festival site. No camping is permitted. Be prepared to have security check packs and bags as you enter.The festival is a lawn-seating venue, however, and attendees are advised to bring a blanket or tarp. Low-back chairs are also permitted. Be prepared for changes in the weather (bring rain gear and warm clothes for the cool nighttime temperatures.)

The Wheeler Opera House will remain dark into 2021, with current COVID-19 public health orders in place. Meanwhile, the masonry work on the exterior of the building will continue into July.
