Kurtis Emil Klemm

A truly compassionate soul, Kurtis Emil Klemm, 39, of Basalt, was lost on April 15, 2013. He leaves behind his soul mate, Tamara Rauch, his beloved son, Jackson (Timothy) Klemm; step children, Samantha and Matthew Rauch; mother Linda Lechlinski; cousin Brooke Caldwell; and half sister, Denise Klemm. He was preceded in death by his father, Karl Klemm.

Born in Fresno, CA, and raised in Chico, CA, Kurtis loved the outdoors. He lived in Telluride for five years, before moving to the Roaring Fork Valley 20 years ago. Some of his happiest moments were time spent helping others and time spent with his loving family.
