Kudos to Edible Aspen

Dear Editor:

Congratulations to Lisa Houston, publisher of Edible Aspen, for receiving the prestigious James Beard award for Publication of the Year.

My wife and I always look forward to finding the newest edition of this local slick magazine on the stands around town as it always offers the most beautiful photography and interesting articles about local restaurants and mountain valley resources for unique food items. The James Beard award is perhaps the most coveted of all and it could not go to a nicer local.

Also, the magazine has a very long shelf life (advertisers, take notice) as we have collected and refer back to all of the past issues for recipes that incorporate these great, fresh local ingredients. Bon appetit and congrats.
