Kole’s a great problem solver

Dear Editor:

About six months ago I was introduced to Andrew Kole, as someone I should know for business. I have been a management consultant and corporate coach for over 15 years, specializing in helping organizations, teams and individuals create positive, powerful results for themselves and their organizations. One of my clients for the last eight years has been the city of Denver.

It was suggested that Andrew’s marketing experience might be a good fit for some of my clients. He came to Denver and suggested we meet over ice cream, and to bring my 15-year-old daughter along as I had plans with her the only night we could meet. I found it very interesting how he communicated with my daughter who can be difficult at times. Their conversation was like one of a couple of old friends who hadn’t seen each other for a long time. By the end of the evening I knew I wanted to work with him.

A few months later a client had a need I thought Andrew could fill. I admit I was a bit apprehensive at first, as we had never been in a meeting together. But I was not surprised as to how well we worked together, or how well he partnered with my client, asking the right questions, always working toward finding a solution for their problem ” which he did.

If Aspen, like everywhere in the world, has problems in front of them, Andrew is the guy you want to lead. I feel he would make a great mayor. His intuitive nature, coupled with the ability to recognize a problem, and then work to consensus solving it is a skill which should not be underestimated.

Besides, he likes ice cream.
