Kole for mayor
Dear Editor:
It is easy to get caught up in the rhetoric of politics, so I would like to help put a human face on one of the candidates for mayor – Andrew Kole.
Andrew and I share an office, adjacent tables at Victoria’s Espresso Bar, where every weekday we both diligently pursue the difficult business of writing. Given that this is a very tough business it says a lot about Andrew that he has had such success at it. Even with the long hours that his work demands, he has always taken the time to help me with the free writing workshop held monthly in Aspen, at which he has been supportive to all who attend, beginners and more advanced writers alike.
Being relatively new to town I do not know the other candidates; however, I can vouch for Andrew’s work ethic, intelligence, helpfulness and friendliness. It is easy to see that he really cares about Aspen.
