Kids should take note of our vets
Dear Editor:
Parents: Since there is no school on Thursday, please take your children to the Veterans Day ceremony on the courthouse lawn at 11 a.m. this Thursday. Our kids need to understand what our veterans have done for us and what the soldiers abroad are doing as we speak.

Aspen City Council puts breaks on Old Powerhouse Preservation Project
With many lingering questions still surrounding the fate of Aspen’s historic Old Powerhouse, City Council decided during Monday’s work session to hold off on providing staff direction on moving the preservation project forward until more information can be presented.
