Kenichi supports Mountain Rescue Aspen
June 15, 2012
On June 6, Kenichi restaurant and staff hosted a fundraiser for Mountain Rescue Aspen.
Kenichi offered a 50 percent food and sake discount to anyone making a donation (in any amount) to Mountain Rescue Aspen. The place was packed from the moment the doors opened and was hopping until 11. This is the third year Kenichi has supported the group, and for the third year it was a tremendous event.
Mountain Rescue Aspen is a volunteer (no paid staff or personnel) arm of the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office, providing education and search-and-rescue services for residents and visitors in Pitkin County. All of our volunteers are residents of Pitkin County. Mountain Rescue Aspen is 100 percent dependent on grants and donations from residents and visitors to Pitkin County in order to meet its operating and capital needs every year.
Thanks to Scott, Corey and the amazing Kenichi staff for making the Mountain Rescue Aspen night an overwhelming success. We are extremely grateful for the steadfast support Mountain Rescue Aspen continues to receive from our extraordinary community.
