Keep ballots private

Dear Editor:

The ballots from Aspen’s May 2009 election were never shuffled.

So if those ballots (or ballot images) were to be released then one would be able, in some cases, to match up ballots with the names of voters listed on the logs (previously released by the city) that were maintained at each polling station.

Please don’t release the ballots or the ballot images.
