Keep ballots private
Dear Editor:
The ballots from Aspen’s May 2009 election were never shuffled.
So if those ballots (or ballot images) were to be released then one would be able, in some cases, to match up ballots with the names of voters listed on the logs (previously released by the city) that were maintained at each polling station.
Please don’t release the ballots or the ballot images.

State issues Vail Resorts a notice of violation for 2021 fish kill
Vail Resorts has received notice of violation and a cease and desist order in the wake of a spill, which qualifies as a “discharge of pollutants,” last year from part of the Vail Mountain snowmaking system that ultimately resulted in a fish kill in Gore Creek.
